Detox tea blends FAQ
What do these teas taste like?
Most are fresh and herbal: lemony from lemon verbena and lemongrass, warm from ginger and cinnamon, or cool from peppermint and fennel. A few, like Lemon Green Detox, have a green tea base.
Do these teas contain caffeine?
Most of the herbal and rooibos blends are caffeine-free. Blends with green tea, matcha, oolong or yerba mate, such as Lemon Green Detox and Healthy Edge, contain some caffeine.
How do I brew them?
Use 1 to 1.5 teaspoons per 250 ml cup. Steep herbal and rooibos blends in water just off the boil for 5 to 7 minutes. Green tea blends taste best at about 79°C for 2 to 3 minutes.
Are these teas a cleanse or a treatment?
No. They are everyday tea blends chosen for flavour. If you are pregnant, nursing or take medication, check the ingredients on each product page and ask your doctor before trying a new herbal tea.
