Description
Golden Dragon Yellow Tea – Floral, Buttery Chinese Yellow TeaOur Golden Dragon Yellow Tea is a fine Chinese tea from one of the rarest tea categories in the world. True yellow tea is produced only in China and is prepared much like green tea — but during processing, the leaves are kept damp and allowed to gently oxidize. This extended step reduces astringency and gives the finished tea a warm golden hue and its own unique flavor. Artisans nickname this tea "10-degree yellow tea, " as it undergoes a minimal oxidation of around 10%. This gentle process gives Golden Dragon its smooth, mellow body and delicate floral character.
