Chrysanthemum flowers have been cultivated in China for more than two thousand years and are one of the most popular flower teas in East Asia. The dried blossoms brew a delicate, clear golden cup with a light floral, slightly sweet and herbaceous aroma. Chrysanthemum is often enjoyed on its own or paired with pu-erh, green tea, goji berries and rock sugar, a classic combination in Chinese tea houses. It is naturally caffeine-free and lovely served hot or chilled.
